A visit to a magical land isn’t the only thing brewing at the South Bend Symphony! On Sunday, October 21st at 2:30 p.m., the musical weekend continues with the first June H. Edwards Mosaic Series concert of the 2018-19 Season – also at the DeBartolo Performing Arts Center. This concert will begin a 3-year-long concert cycle that pairs each of the nine Beethoven symphonies with works of a modern-era composer. Our “Beethoven Cycle” begins with Beethoven’s first symphony paired with The Sun’s Pealing Bells, a work by Notre Dame Professor of Music Theory and Composition John Liberatore.
