SOUTH BEND, In. (February 6, 2019) – On Saturday, February 16th at 7:30 p.m. at the Morris Performing Arts Center, the South Bend Symphony continues the 2018-19 Indiana Trust Pops Series with a night of song, dance, and romance. Under the baton of Music Director Alastair Willis, the SBSO and veterans of the Broadway stage, Joan Hess and Kirby Ward, will thrill the audience with selections from the Golden Age of stage and screen.

“[Joan Hess and Kirby Ward] bring not only great vocal talent, but witty personalities, high quality tap and swing dancing, and an overall fun, engaging atmosphere, enjoyable and appropriate for anyone ages 5-105.”
-Front Row Reviewers, Utah Symphony

The second installment of the 2018-19 Indiana Trust Pops Concert will include dazzling selections such as In the Mood, Singing in the Rain, Begin the Beguine, I Could Have Danced All Night, and other favorites of the Great American Songbook that will leave audiences of all ages dancing in the aisles!

Featured performers Joan Hess and Kirby Ward bring Broadway and Hollywood together for a production that is musically invigorating and entertaining – with as much exciting choreography as enthralling music.

“one of the most prolific Pops performances in recent history… Hess and Ward sang and danced their way through a nearly two-hour show and did so flawlessly… The energy generated on the stage was palpable.”
