Play-Along Details

The Play-Along with the Symphony as part of its August 18 concert at the Chris Wilson Pavilion at South Bend’s Potawatomi Park. This free opportunity is open to all community musicians who would like the chance to perform with a professional symphony under the baton of Music Director Alastair Willis. The Play-Along portion of the concert will include two pieces: Edward Elgar’s “Nimrod” from his Enigma Variations and Camille Saint-Saën’s “Danse Bacchanale” from Samon and Delilah. This year, the Play-Along has a new enhancement: Each orchestral part for the Play-Along pieces will be available in Basic and Advanced formats. This will help to ensure that community musicians of all skill levels are able to enjoy their experience.
